The New Dry Eye Standard of Care:
BioTears Oral GelCaps
My eyes have been dry for about 6 years, after having laser corrective surgery. I would suffer with pain, gritty feeling and blurry vision, worsening with the hot, dry or windy weather. After searching the internet and finding Bio Tears, I tried them, and after 2 weeks, noticed a big difference in all symptoms. Thank you for a great product.

Thank you Biosyntrx! After ten years of wearing contact lens, I had just about given them up until my optometrist recommended I start taking BioTears. I'm wearing my contacts 12 hours a day again in complete comfort.

The series one prostaglandin, PGE1, acts on G protein coupled receptors designated as E-prostanoids that
activate adenylate cyclase to increase cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP). PGE1 and cAMP have
been clinically shown to stimulate aqueous tear production in the dry eye patient. By decreasing inflammation
and augmenting the oil and water layers of the tear film, this proprietary blend of Omega 6 and Omega 3
fatty acids and the natural COX2 inhibitor, Curcumin, successfully inhibits the arachidonic acid inflammatory
cascade associated with evaporative dry eye, or dry eye associated with allergic response.
You made magic with this formulation!

The problem of dry eyes in the age group of most of our patients is almost universal. The addition of BioTears Oral Gelcaps to our arsenal to affect this problem is great. My physicians's assistant, Bill Asumus, and I find good patient compliance without too much GI distress, a high level of symptomatic relief and significant improvement in testing parameters. Thank you for your work in bringing this product to the market.

Mucosal tissue specific PGE1 can only be produced through the downstream metabolism of Omega 6 fatty acids,
specifically DGLA. Flax seed oil contains a small amount of Omega 6 linoleic acid and none of the nutrient
co-factors necessary to ensure its downstream conversion to DGLA. As a source of Omega 3 EFA, flax
tends to be chemically unstable when processed as polyunsaturated EFA oil.
I have Sjogren's Syndrome and Lupus and I suffer with severe eye and mouth dryness. I tried BioTears Oral Gel Caps as directed and within 48 hours felt an amazing relief from my dry eye and mouth problems. I also obtained relief from personal dryness and could even feel a difference with breathing. I usually have to cough about 20 minutes upon awakening to clear my airway passages because of the dryness. Since taking this product I no longer have this difficulty.

Oral Treatment for dry eye complications may very well be the 'golden bullet' that eye care practioneers have been searching for. I now recommend such on a daily basis to our patients who 'suffer' dry eye problems as well as those associated with contact lens wear. I have seen significant improvement over a brief period of time in a significant number of cases. The chronic 'dry eye' patient, when following the exact instructions and being consistent and patient, may every well show considerable improvement.

The nutrients in BioTears Oral GelCaps have been clinically shown to increase tear film levels of the
iron-binding protein, lactoferrin. Increased levels of tear lactoferrin indicate increased levels of ocular
surface wound healing factors EGF and TGF, as well as increases in lipocalins, which are required to
efficiently mix tear film goblet and secretory mucins. Lactoferrin also stimulates bacterial “twitching”,
which prevents the formation of ocular surface biofilms that easily become resistant to antibiotics.
Biosyntrx is it's logo, "The Company Doctors Trust". I use and recommend BioTears Gelcaps, they are very effective in a wide range of dry eye patients. People get better.

The nutrients included in BioTears Oral GelCaps also address the tear-deficient dry eye by enhancing
the body’s production of the neurotransmitter, acetylcholine, which triggers the sensory/autonomic
neural reflex loop that stimulates the lacrimal glands to produce aqueous fluid.
