Christophe J. Juliet, O.D.

Dr. Juliet's visits as a child to his pediatric optometrist, was one of the factors that inspired him to pursue the profession of optometry. He was moved by the evolving personal care and doctor-patient relationships his optometrist fostered over the years as he carefully listened to the needs of his patients in order to determine the best course of treatment. While the field of optometry has grown in terms of choices and advancements, Dr. Juliet finds that listening to patients, combined with a compassion for their needs is still fundamental.

Completing his bachelors degree in Biology/Microbiology at California State University, Northridge, Dr. Juliet performed graduate work in Immunology before commencing his studies in optometry at the New England College of Optometry in Boston. While engaged in his studies in optometry school, he became fascinated in the advancements and improvements in vision correction subsequent to refractive surgery. As a result, after graduating from optometry school, Dr. Juliet was quick to begin his career in this specialized field of optometry. As such, Dr Juliet's first position held was in refractive surgery and he has excelled in this field ever since.

A member of various Optometric Associations, Dr. Juliet holds this to be an invaluable source of the most current information concerning eye care. "Discussing, learning, and taking the best from our colleagues is a great way to improve patient care and stay on top of the latest modes of treatment and vision correction", Dr. Juliet acknowledges.

Since becoming a member of the team at Global Laser Vision, Dr. Juliet finds the staff's experience and use of the latest technology of the highest caliber. The staff of surgeons, optometrists, and patient counselors are compassionate and willing to extend themselves to meet the needs of their patients.

A native Californian and resident of San Diego, Dr. Juliet enjoys the many activities offered by the city including rollerblading, mountain biking, and photography. Dr. Juliet is fluent in French and frequently travels to France to visit his family members residing in the eastern part of the country. In addition, he has traveled to various destinations throughout Europe.
