Dear Global Laser Vision Staff,

I have worn glasses since 1st grade, and thought I would be forever doomed to wear them and struggle with them on a daily basis. Contact lenses never worked well for me, and glasses were such a pain! Doing dance classes through my life proved to be a feat when it was hot, and my glasses would fall down my nose. My modeling career also suffered a little, when my agent couldn't cast "the girl with the glasses".

I heard about LASIK a few years ago and researched it like crazy. The procedure sounded really scary so I put off thinking any more about it. In October of 2007, my boyfriend of 4 years proposed to me and that's when I got determined to go through with LASIK because I absolutely refused to wear glasses on my wedding day. I went to a few different offices, researched online, and asked others who had had it done what it was like.

When I walked in to Global Laser Vision, I immediately felt like I was in a completely safe and caring environment. All of the staff was super friendly and patient, and all of the doctors answered any and all questions I had, and put all my fears to rest. I made a date to do LASIK and shook in my boots for three weeks until the day finally came!

I came into the office on LASIK day and was greeted by incredibly helpful and calming people all along the way. The procedure was only a few minutes, was completely painless, and made me feel ridiculous for being so scared of it! I woke up the next morning and could see! I started crying and yelling that I could see! I jumped out of bed and ran outside in my pajamas~ and I could SEE! Colors were completely different, everything was crisp and clear, and there was nothing slipping down my nose! I was free! I can definitely say that I see much better now than I ever saw with glasses on my face.

LASIK has completely changed my life. I have gained oodles of self esteem, gotten more modeling opportunities, and~ the most important thing of all~ I walked down the aisle on my wedding day and saw my husband with perfect vision with the look of love on his face that every girl dreams of her whole life. It was incredible!

I would recommend Global Laser Vision to anyone who even considers getting LASIK. I am treated with the utmost respect, courtesy, and friendliness every single time I enter the building. I want to thank each and every person on the staff for changing my life, and helping me to feel like the most beautiful woman on my wedding day.
