Chef Orion

Chef Orion started his cooking career at 14 years old at Gerard's Relais De Lyon in Bothell, Washington. By 17 he was the Sous Chef in charge of the restaurant on Sunday evenings. His next position was at the Burbank Airport Hilton where he was the Banquet Chef and produced meals for up to 2000 people. While attending the CCA, he worked his way up to being the Sous Chef at Stars Café. Upon graduation from the CCA, he took his first chef job at a San Francisco seafood restaurant where he was recruited to Dallas, Texas as the Chef of Café in Highland Park. After a 2 year hiatus, he landed the Executive Chef job at The Bellevue Club & Hotel which was a four star-four diamond rated property with five food outlets, a staff of 30 and 6M in food sales. He next moved to Napa Valley to work in the Executive Sous Chef position where he worked with a German Master Chef at The Villagio Inn & Spa. They did many great wine events and he worked side by side with the likes of Thomas Keller. He is currently working as the Executive Chef at the Azul La Jolla which is in the Brigantine Family of San Diego restaurants.
